Terms of Service

1. Important: Stay Out of the DVSA Portal

Until we have confirmed your new slot, please do not log in to the DVSA portal, either yourself or through any third-party app or service.

2. How the Service Is Provided

Early Slot Finder ("the company") provides all of its services and software, including earlyslotfinder.com and its cancellation search service, "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind. The company cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the DVSA website, or that earlier test dates will be available.

3. Permission to Use the DVSA Website for You

When you give us your driving licence number, you allow the company to log in to the DVSA website for you, to look for earlier driving tests or to reschedule your test. We carry out every action on the DVSA website ourselves, so you do not need to do anything.

4. No Link to the DVSA

The company is not affiliated with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). Signing up does not guarantee that we will find you an earlier test date.

5. Changes or Cancellations Made by Others

The company is not responsible for any change the DVSA makes to your test date or time, or for any cancellation caused by things such as examiner illness or bad weather (for example snow, ice or fog).

6. Auto-Booking and Bookings You Make

If you switch on auto-booking, or book a test manually through our service, you are responsible for cancelling it if you need to. The company is not liable if you book a non-refundable test and then decide to cancel it.

7. Consent to Contact

By registering with the company, you agree to receive emails, WhatsApp messages, SMS text messages and phone calls from us. We will not share your personal details with third parties.

8. One Account per Licence Holder

Each account you pay for may only be used to search for practical driving tests for the licence holder whose details are entered on the website. We may suspend any account that is not used in line with this rule, and will make reasonable efforts to contact you before doing so.

9. Your Responsibilities as a Learner

You, the learner driver, are responsible for turning up to your driving test, bringing the right documents and making sure your car is suitable for the test. The company is not liable for any cancellation caused by a mistake made by you or your instructor, including missing documents or an unsuitable vehicle.

10. Looking After Your Test Date

You are responsible for managing your test date, and for cancelling it on the DVSA website if you cannot attend, especially when it falls close to the DVSA's short-notice period.

11. Payment

We take no payment when you register. You will be asked to pay for the service once we have found and booked an earlier driving test for you and sent you the new date, time and test centre by WhatsApp message. Payment is due once you have received confirmation of your new test date.

If we do not find you an earlier driving test, or cannot provide the service for any other reason, you pay nothing. This is in addition to your statutory rights, including any right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

12. Cancelling Without Telling Us

If a booking is cancelled without letting the Early Slot Finder team know, any payment due will be decided in line with company policy.

13. Updates to These Terms

The company may change these terms at any time.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
